OUR STORY

ARGO was founded in 2019 by Alex Gimenez in his college apartment. Alex was inspired by sports, music, sneakers, style and standing out as long as he could remember. With a desire that began in high school, he created ARGO to represent his originality in a trend-following society.

Using fashion and style to express himself, Alex wanted to create a brand that not only represented himself but also a brand that others could relate to. A brand of authenticity. When he first began, he didn't have any experience nor a mentor in the industry, becoming a self taught success story; "a root from which all things grow". Beginning as a one shirt line, he has expanded to create one-of-one designs and apparel beyond the basics. His Argentine roots and life growing up in Asheboro, North Carolina has been a major inspiration in his designs. ARGO truly is a brand stemming from roots.
